The artist

I work in acrylic on canvas, drawn to the way light transforms ordinary scenes into something worth pausing for. My paintings sit at the intersection of observation and memory — not quite documentary, not quite imagined.

Each piece begins with hours of looking — sketching, photographing, sitting with a subject until its essential character reveals itself. I build surfaces slowly, allowing earlier marks to show through. Color carries the emotion; composition holds the silence.
